Greenfield Handbell Choir
Director: Mrs. Teresa Allen
The Greenfield Handbell Choir has been in existence for over 30 years.
We perform at the school twice a year with the band and strings as well as other places. In the past we have performed at
such places as the Riparian Preserve (outside Christmas lights), the AZ temple lights concerts, our state capitol,
rest homes, malls and bookstores, the State Fair, and Rockin’ R Ranch.
The Choir is made up of 5th and 6th graders. If you would like to be a part of the handbell choir, you must have at least one year’s experience reading music such as piano lessons. The choir practices two mornings a week from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
They have a lot of fun playing handbells and learning to work as a team. If you join handbells, you will become really good at reading music—especially rhythms!
If interested, Mrs. Allen, the general music teacher and handbell director, has registration forms at her classroom during “Meet the teacher” night at the beginning of the school year. Fill out a form and turn
it in and Mrs. Allen will let you know when practices begin!
